Cookies & Data Protection doesn’t collect any personal data, but just like millions of other sites, it does use Google Analytics Cookies for performance monitoring.

However, if you choose to comment on a blog post, you do have to provide a name and an email address. Note that it doesn’t have to be your real name, or your real email address (I am certainly not building any mailing lists from the email addresses).

But you may as well be consistent or at least try and be believable; due to the thousands of spam comments that the site gets I have to run blocking software behind the scenes, and if you don’t look legit to that I won’t even know you commented.

So, short and sweet though this data protection statement may be, if you are unhappy with anything relating to your personal data on this site, email with your concerns and we can discuss sorting it out.
